Comcast is Evil!
May. 6th, 2003 10:21 pmWe are switching to Covad DSL. I just got the equipment. We will have 5 static IPs, which will mean better website hosting and a few other nifty things I can do. And best of all, no more Comcast. I talked with the tech yesterday, made sure we were going to really have service this time (since we have had three previous bad attempts at getting DSL trough other vendors. And the cool thing was that the tech was a hardcore Rush fan too!
What that means is that the rabbit warren, and specifically any email or web site stuff for us may be down for a day or two. But it should stop the annoying bounce messages y'all have been getting.
On another note, I got a call for the second interview. This one will be in Pasadena, where I would be spending about 10% of my time if I get the job. But the job looks good (better than the last one), and they definitely seem interested. Enough to fly me down to Pasadena to meet their folks down there. And my impression from the last interview was that I was the first person they interviewed and there were only a couple others they were interested in interviewing. Go me!
