Uber Geek Strikes Again

I got Master of Orion 3 this weekend. I have been waiting for this game for over a year. I have been on the designers list at times, and watching the development, and waiting with an itch that is hard to describe. I have played the both MOO1 and MOO2 for years, and still find MOO2 to be a fun game. So I worked hard this weekend (see purplerabbit's post) and then installed the game. Finally, last night I skipped teh Return to the Bat Cave show to play. The game is complex and I am still trying to understand all the ins and outs. I like the fact that I start out more powerful in some ways than I had expected. And I like the diplomatic interactions. I'm still not figuring ou the ship deisgn and planet devlopment very well though.

Aahh, the thrill of adventure!
