Anyone know much about Java VM?

I'm having problems on my Linux box. And my Linux skills are just not yet up to the task of tracking this down. I did go the Sun and install the latest VM package, but still no joy.

Guess I'll go play solitaire...

what's the symptom? What are you trying to do and what isn't it doing? sounds like a CLASSPATH problem, most likely - and that's without symptoms ;)

I tried to install LimeWire. It said that "no java virtual machine could be found from your PATH environment variable. You must install a VM before running this program."
When I went to the Sun site, and DLed and set up the latest VM, it said there was a problem with it. I don't know if it isn't compatible with my version of Linux (SUSE 8.2)
