Reading my own journal...

You know, I was just looking at my own journal entries, and they sound a lot more melodramatic than I really feel most of the time. I'm not that up-and-down usually. I guess part of it is context. I may be feeling or thinking of something when I sit down and write here, but that is just a fragment of what is going on for me. That fragmentation of expression in thought and emotion is what makes it so difficult for me to write fiction too. I can see/feel think what the characters are experiencing, but can't convey the full depth of it.

Oh why can't I just be a telepath?
