This evenings episode of Angel had a really great line. After Angel and a woman have sex under the influence of mystical events, she says this to him,

"Its not like I haven't had sex under mystical influences. I went to UC Santa Cruz!"

I wonder if Joss Whedon knows about the totem pole?

Angel is a TV show. It is an offshoot of Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

I don't suppose you've ever been to the totem pole, have you? It is a wonderful hike, if nothing else. I highly recommend a walk in elfland and up to the totem pole if you have a chance to visit UCSC.

There is a lot of history as well, but that is a story that needs to be told while one is walking there.
