New day, new perspective...
Jan. 11th, 2003 10:02 pmWell, things are going much better for me today. I haven't watched too much news (which is usually way too depressing), and some of it was actually good news for a change. The whole death sentence change is just one of many social injustices that I hope we will get over completely soon.
I got a lot of yard work done, and we have a driveway again. Many thanks to Michael Bradshaw and his friends Chris and Hunter for all the help. We will be clearing out all the overload of Ebay stuff Dawn has accumulated into a large semi-portable pavilion on the driveway starting tomorrow, then we will have a house again. Then at some point we will be having the Uber Yard Sale.
I'm also going to help a friend with some computer stuff and work on our computers tomorrow too. And soon the 22mbps wireless router will be here (AND THEN I SHALL RULE THE UNIVERSE!!!) I traded 256MB RAM for 3 wireless cards a while ago, so I just need the router now. But I am most satisfied about getting things organized around here for now.
I'm also feeling better today, if the tone of my post doesn't make that obvious. Despite moving a couple tons of lumber and bricks, I feel better than I have in weeks. I did cough a bit during the day, but not all that bad, especially given that I was outside. The weather wasn't too bad, and the sense of accomplishment and drive has been a marvelous change from the last few weeks.
And just so y'all know, I'm still figuring out how to muck about with this, so I might do some weird stuff until I get some idea of what I like.
